Using roroa
He tāngata papai ngā ākonga o Te Whare Takiura o Tāwhaki
Using roroa, nunui, rarahi, papai, kikino, nonohi, and ririki
When roa (long,tall), nui (big), rahi (big), pai (good), kino (bad), nohinohi (small), and riki (small) are used with plural nouns, the first consonant, together with the first vowel of these words, is doubled.
Hei tauira:
a. He tāngata roroa ēnei. e. Mā Hamahona ngā kōhatu rarahi e hiki. | These are tall people. Samson will lift the large rocks. |
