Exercise Two
Using ka
Ka is used as a verbal particle and indicates that the word following is a verb. No specific time is indicated with the use of ka, however it usually indicates future tense as seen in the following examples.
Ka haere mai mātou āpōpō.
We will come tomorrow.
Ka whara koe.
You will get injured.

Whakamāoritia ngā kōrero.
Translate the sentences into Māori.
Kei wareware ki te whakamahi i ngā piko, ngā tohu pātai, ngā kopi me ngā tohutō i ngā wāhi e tika ana.
They (3+) will run tomorrow.
We (2 including the listener) will play the day after tomorrow.
The chair will break.
They and I will wash the clothes.
Rīpeka will sing.
They (2) will paint the house.
They (3+) will forget.
You (2) will cook the fish.
I will arrive tomorrow.
They (2) will meet at 4 o’clock.
